Build your own stretcher with individual bars. Mix and match separate lengths to create any required size — perfect for stretching canvas, linen or cotton. Our bars are crafted from premium spruce, finger-jointed and, in the Classic line, additionally laminated for extra stability. Wedges are included free of charge.

How to compose your frame

For one complete stretcher frame, order two identical lengths for the width and two identical lengths for the height:

• 40 × 63 cm → order 2 × 40 cm + 2 × 63 cm
• 33 × 60 cm → order 2 × 33 cm + 2 × 60 cm

Canvas & sizing tips

• Keep the fabric at least 3 cm larger on each side than the frame.
• Stretch evenly and fold corners last.
• Use the included wedges to re-tension the canvas.

Braces

• 45 mm: optional reinforcement for larger sizes.
• 65 mm: add a centre brace for long rectangles or a cross for large squares.
