When to use a brace vs. a cross

• Centre brace for rectangular/elongated canvases where the longest side > 120 cm.
• Cross for (near) square canvases with both sides > 120 cm. For frames > 2 m, we recommend a double cross.

Centre brace: added stiffness for elongated formats. Cross: two slotted braces interlock at the centre.

What is the slot?

3D bars from 60 cm include a central slot. Insert one centre brace or two slotted braces to form a cross. The connection works like a puzzle — quick, square and secure.

Ordering tips

• One piece = a centre brace. Two pieces = a cross.
• 60 × 130 cm (rectangular): 2 × 60 + 2 × 130 cm + brace 60 cm.
• 120 × 120 cm (near square): 4 × 120 cm + cross 120 × 120 cm.
• Canvas overlap: at least +6 cm per side beyond the frame size.

DIY assembly?

Yes. Slide into the slot and tap home with a rubber mallet. No glue or nails. Check squareness with a try square.
